The letter M on the left plate and “Artl.” indicated that the binocular was produced for Marine artillery. The objectives and prisms are coated, only eye lenses are not coated. In the right ocular is fitted reticule. The binocular is in the original case marked Carl Zeiss Jena; swastika and the letter M - Marine. The eyecups are not original. Production No. 1629516
